TCXO temperature compensated crystal oscillator is a quartz crystal oscillator frequency variation generated by the additional temperature compensation circuit makes the variation of ambient temperature reduction. Its temperature compensation principle is by changing the load capacitance in the oscillation circuit, the temperature compensated resonator due to frequency drift caused by the variation of environmental temperature.
TCXO is divided into two types, direct compensation and indirect compensation.
